The Tri-Course Championship was held for the first time in 2017. The event is a 54 Hole Stroke Play Championship hosted by the three golf courses in Fond du Lac. 18 Holes will be played at Rolling Meadows GC, South Hills CC and Whispering Springs GC over a Friday through a Sunday. In 2019 we will feature 2 person teams with 18 holes each of Chapman Alternate Shot, Best Ball and Scramble to find the best team of Fond du lac.
A big thank you for those who played in the recent Tri Course Tournament. Thank you also to Whispering Springs and South Hills for co-hosting this event featuring 2-Person Teams with 18 holes each of Chapman Alternate Shot, Best Ball and Scramble.
In the 3 day overall event the RMGC Team of Terry Flesch and Joe DuChateau took Flight 1 Gross with a 3 day total of 196 to beat out Doyle Kelly and Mason Herkstroeter by 12 shots. They had also won the Gross event each day of the tournament.
In the flight 1 net competition Jack Riederer and Brian Eimiller took first with a 3 day score of 194.3 beating out the Camelot team of Chad Schmitt and Ryan Fochs.
In Flight 2 the Whispering Springs team of Matt Georg and Chris Develice took first with a 3 day total of 202 while their nearest competition being the other Whispering Springs team of Tim Tolley and Kevin Clinard who took 1st Net with a 189.2.
In Sundays Scramble Flesh and DuChateau shot a Gross 61 to beat out Kelly and Herkstroeter by 2 shots. In the Flight 1 Net competition Chad Schmidt and Ryan Fochs carded a net 59.7 to beat out Roger Hanson and Adam Hadrian. In Flight 2 Janathan Krause and Joe Sarnowski carded a 65 to take the gross crown while the father/son team of Jim and Marcus Ruch played to a net 62.2 to take the net division.
At South Hills on Saturday the Flight 1 best ball results were Flesh and DuChateau with 65 gross beating out the Sheboygan team of Oliver Sadiq and Josh Henschel while Jack Riederer and Brian Eimiller took 1st in the net with a 63 beating out Brian Kuhnz and Cory Zibung. In Second Flight Matt Georg and Chris Decelice shot a 71 gross to edge out Dan George and Peter Jessen while in net Kevin Clinard and Tim Tolley beat out Eric Franson and Mike craze 60 to 63.
The event started at Whispering Springs on Friday with the Champman Alternate Shot format and once again the team of Flesh and DuChateau took the gross competition with a 70 to beat out Adam Hadrian and Roger Hanson. In the flight 1 net Hadrian and Hanson beat out Chad Schmitt and Ryan Fochs. In the second flight Georg and Develice shot 73 to beat Clinard and Tolley in both Net and Gross games.

2019 Tri-Course will be held July 12, 13, 14 and be conducted as 3 two man competitions with a overall winner.
Day 1 will feature a Chapman Alternate Shot at Whispering Springs
Day 2 will feature a Best Ball at South Hills with heavy appetizers and a social to follow golf.
Day 3 will feature a Scramble at Rolling Meadows.
